Thornhill, Ontario

The Metrontario Group and SmartREIT jointly own a commercial project on a 21-acre (8.50 hectares) site located at the northwest corner of Bathurst and Centre Streets in Thornhill. When completed, this project will consist of close to 282,000 square feet (28,226 square metres) of retail space and 36,000 square feet (3,348 square metres) of office space. To date, approximately 270,000 square feet (25,110 square metres) have been constructed and are almost fully occupied. Walmart is the anchor tenant. An Urban Design Award has been received by the owners with respect to this project.

This site, centrally located in the ever-expanding Thornhill community, is well serviced by public transit, is 5 minutes from the major east-west corridor Highway 407 and has been approved to permit future mixed-use intensification.
